The Multi-Agency security team in Marsabit County, Eastern Kenya, continues to record great success in accomplishing its objective of restoring security and lasting peace in the area.

On June 12, 2022, the team received information that armed bandits had attacked herders and stolen sixty cows.

Police officers responded promptly and pursued the bandits who escaped towards Marsabit Forest.

All the cows were recovered and escorted to the Police station for further administrative action.

"We thank the local communities for partnering with the security teams and for volunteering information leading to the successful recovery," said the police.
