Three KDF Officers Die In Road Accident

Three Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officers have been confirmed dead, and 17 others injured after a vehicle they were traveling in was involved in a road accident at the Jogoo area on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway on October 6, 2022.

Nakuru-Eldoret highway is located in Nakuru County, Northwest of Nairobi.

The KDF truck was on its way to Nairobi from Eldoret when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.

Police confirmed that 20 officers were on board at the time of the accident.

The injured were rushed to Molo Sub-County Hospital and later transferred to Nakuru for specialized treatment.

The deceased were taken to the morgue as police launched investigations.
