Three people died, and several were injured on Monday morning following a tragic road accident along Isinya-Kitengela Road south of Nairobi.
The 6:40am incident involved a matatu and lorry.
Preliminary investigations indicated that the driver of the matatu attempted to overtake the stalled lorry but instead lost control and hit the said Lorry on the rear right, killing two passengers on the spot.
Other passengers sustained critical injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Among the dead are one male and another female, who are yet to be identified.
Their bodies were transferred to the morgue pending investigations.
