Two Bodies Of Missing Kenyan Men Found

The two bodies of four friends who have been missing for two weeks in Kenya were found on Thursday, April 29.

The body of Benjamin Imbai was found at Thika Level Five Hospital mortuary and that of Elijah Obuong at Murang’a County Referral Hospital morgue, both in central Kenya.

Police said the former’s body was found in a thicket in Thika while the latter’s under a bridge stashed in a sack in Murang’a.

Elijah Obuong, aged 35, Benjamin Amache Imbai -30, Brian Oduor -36, and Jack Ochieng-37, mysteriously disappeared on April 19 at Kitengela, Kajiadio County south of Nairobi.

The four were in transit to Nairobi when they dropped in Club Enkare in Kitengela, where they had lunch before they were seen leaving the joint at about 3 pm.

Their white Toyota Mark X was later found 500 meters away from the restaurant’s parking lot and later towed to the nearby police station after their families reported them missing.

People behind the murders are still unknown, but the investigations to unravel the motive of the killings are underway. An autopsy will be conducted on the bodies to unveil the cause of their deaths. Their bodies had no visible sign of injuries.

The search for the two others is ongoing.

Reports indicate late Imbai has criminal cases pending in court.  Last year, he was arrested alongside six others for being part of a notorious gang that robbed a man ksh900, 000 ($8346).
