Goalkeeper Brian Bwire has been called up to replace Ian Otieno. At the same time, defender Daniel Sakari joins the squad in place of Adam Wilson, who will miss the qualifiers due to compassionate leave following the passing of his grandmother.

These additions bring fresh energy and tactical adjustments to the Eastern African nation that needs the two wins to qualify better for AFCON 2025.

Currently in third place with 4 points, Harambee Stars face stiff competition, with Cameroon leading the group with 10 points and Zimbabwe close behind with 8.

Kenya’s path to qualification is challenging but remains possible, with wins in the upcoming matches essential to keeping their AFCON hopes alive.

The Stars will face Zimbabwe on Friday, November 15, and Namibia on Tuesday, November 19, at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, South Africa.
