The four-time Kenyan Premier League Champions, Ulinzi FC, have completed the signing of Elly Saenyi from Mwatate FC.
The player broke the news on his social media pages.
"I have joined Ulinzi Stars after training with them for a couple of weeks. I am happy to be returning to the top league after a season in the lower tier," Saenyi wrote on his Facebook page.
In the 2021/2022 season, Saenyi emerged the top scorer in the second tier, National Super League, after bagging 26 goals.
Many clubs such as Ulinzi Stars, Posta Rangers, Bidco United and Fortune Sacco were after his signature, but he chose Ulinzi.
The 2022/2023 season is scheduled to kick off on September 10, with Ulinzi facing the former champions Gor Mahia. Bidco United will also have a date with Nzoia Sugar, KCB will play Kariobangi Sharks, and Talanta will take on Fortune Sacco.©Standard Gazette, 2021.
