A woman stabbed her two-year-old son to death over a domestic squabble in Eldoret, Kenya’s North Rift.
The mother of two also injured her six-year-old daughter before trying to take away her life.
The mother had returned early from her rural house and clashed with her husband before grabbing a knife and attacking the children.

The woman claimed that despite being overcome by rage, she did not plan to kill her children but was troubled by family issues, asking for forgiveness.
“I was having troubles, but no one would listen to me. I did this out of tremendous rage and beg for forgiveness,” said the woman.
The deceased was taken to the mortuary, while the injured child was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
