ANC party primaries to kick off next week

The Amani National Congress (Party) nomination exercise will begin next week.

The outfit announced that the primaries will run from April 12 to April 21 across the country.

It will kick off in the coastal part of the country before being rolled out in the other areas.

Registers party members are eligible to vote in the upcoming primaries.

The outfit’s election board chair Salim Busaidy announces that they will release a list of polling centres before the due date.

ANC is headed by the former Minister and vice president Musalia Mudavadi.

It is one of the parties in Kenya Kwanza Alliance support Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid.

The Mudavadi’s led party in the last few months suffered a massive defection after he chose to back up Ruto.

The leaders joined ODM and DAP-K, which are rallying behind Raila Odinga’s presidential quest.
