National Youth Service (NYS) suspect has dumped the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) for Jubilee party.

Addressing journalists in Nakuru city, northwest of Nairobi, Miss Ngarita announced that he will vie for Nakuru Woman Representative post on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s led party.

She explained that her decision came as a result of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga's appeal to individuals who had defected from the Azimio La Umoja movement to return under the banner of its affiliate parties.

Ngarita further noted that she joined UDA out of peer pressure.

"Yes I was in UDA but I exited the party. This is because Raila urged those who had defected from his party to return home and I felt like the prodigal child. Moving to UDA was out of peer pressure. Hence, I will vie for the Nakuru Woman Representative seat," she said.

Ngirita's name was brought to the forefront of the National Youth Service (NYS) scandal investigation when she was implicated in getting Ksh60 million for doing nothing for the service.

UDA is led by Deputy President William Ruto.
