Former Kenyan Member of Parliament Anthony Kimetto is dead.
Kimeto died at the Nairobi Hospital, where he was admitted over diabetes complications, said the family.
“It is true; Mzee has left us. He succumbed to an illness bravely borne on Monday while undergoing treatment,” said Dominic Koskei, the deceased son.
The deceased was a former Sotik MP in Kenya’s South Rift.

Mr. Kimetto was a prominent Narok County farmer and landowner who lived in Ndanai, Bomet County.
He was previously the chairman of Kenya’s Milling Corporation of Nakuru.
He’d been in and out of the hospital for over a decade.
