Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja focuses on selling his agenda to Nairobi residents as he seeks to become the third governor.
Speaking to a local radio station, Sakaja said unlike some of the politicians, he doesn’t talk ill of his opponents nor hurl abusive words at them.
“ will never hear me talk ill of my opponents. I will only discuss issues,” said Sakaja.
At the same time, he revealed that he has no issue with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga even though he supports deputy president William Ruto to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Raila Amollo Odinga is like a father to me. Of all leaders, the only one who has come to my home for my son’s birthday is Raila Odinga. His part in Kenya’s history cannot be erased. I respect them,” he added.
He further divulged that he respects President Kenyatta and thanked him for entrusting him with the defunct The National Alliance (TNA) party.
“I respect President Uhuru Kenyatta he picked me from President Kibaki’s team, we started TNA where I was chairman at the age of 26,” he stated.
