Members of Kenya’s National Assembly’s Committee on Communication, Information, and Innovation met with their German Bundestag counterparts on Monday.
The lawmakers held crucial discussions on sustainable IT and digital participation in legislative processes, even as they shared knowledge, experiences and best practices in pursuing a more dynamic digital future.
MP Kivasu Nzioka stated that Kenya recognizes that harnessing the potential of ICT is inextricably linked to sustainable development.
He also reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment by formulating relevant laws and policies that will help further promote the country’s already strong diplomatic ties with Germany.
According to the German delegation’s leader, Hon Tabea Röbner, this may be accomplished by focusing on the two countries’ critical areas of collaboration on digital matters.
