The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nelson Havi has officially joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
Deputy President William Ruto received Havi at his Karen residence, Nairobi.
The LSK boss intends to vie for the Westlands Parliamentary seat during the 2022 general polls.
“When I go to Parliament, I’ll make sure we have the right laws, that the National Revenue allocation benefits every region, and that whatever the national government does is constitutional,” he said during an interview in a local radio station.
Havi switched from the Amani National Congress (ANC) party, which he had only recently joined, in May 2021.
