A Kenyan MP, John Waluke, has been blocked from travelling to the United States following graft cases he is facing.
In a ruling issued on Thursday, the court refused to release his passport, meaning he will not be able to travel to America for a parliamentary event.
Waluke, alongside his business partner Grace Wakhungu, are accused of stealing $2.97 million from the National Cereals Produce Board.
The lawmaker and Wakhungu had been sentenced to a 34 and 39-year jail term, respectively.
However, in September 2020, the two were granted bail awaiting the hearing and determination of their filed appeals by a High Court in Nairobi.
