Pamoja African Alliance joins Kenya Kwanza

Pamoja African Alliance (PAA) party has quit Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance for Kenya Kwanza.

PAA party boss Amason Kingi said on Tuesday that his move came after considering the needs of Kenyans.

“On 8th May we signed a coalition agreement with Kenya Kwanza after a series of meetings, and PAA’s NEC passed a resolution to join Kenya Kwanza,” he said.

Kingi said a “myriad of issues” made him decamp Raila Odinga’s red outfit.

“Legal process wasn’t completed because they refused to share the agreement,  the dealings in Azimio are shrouded in mysterious ways, and it became difficult to pursue PAA’s agenda within Azimio,” he said.

He revealed that his party signed a deal with Kenya Kwanza on May 8, noting the pact is a big win for those living in the coastal part of Kenya.

“A new chapter will officially begin once Kenya Kwanza comes to power. We are not interested in individual positions, we will promote inclusivity in sharing of national assets located at the coast,” he added.
