Uhuru wants to be the prime minister in the ODM government of Raila Odinga, claims lawmaker Moses Kuria.

“The truth which even him knows is that he wants a third term- This time as a Prime Minister in Baba’s government. This is unpalatable and unacceptable to us the sons and daughters of Kikuyu peasants. We shall resist!” he said on Facebook.

This comes just a few days after Kuria warned the President that if he supported the former Prime Minister for the presidency, he would be cursed.

Kuria predicted noted that the president would be cursed for breaking a community oath administered by President Uhuru Kenyatta’s father, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, and a group of Mount Kenya elders.

“Uhuru is defying his father’s wishes by supporting Raila Odinga, and he is aware of Kenyatta’s remarks. We even took an oath never to support Raila for president, which is why we are supporting Ruto “He stated.

The Gatundu South MP in central Kenya is supporting Ruto to become the fifth president of the East African nation whereas Kenyatta has thrown his weight behind Odinga, who is said has the interest of the country at heart.

However, Uhuru has said several times that he will not extend his tenure beyond August 9, 2022.
