Kenya’s new political party, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), has opened a party branch in the United States of America.
The party’s new office is based in Seattle, Washington, the outfit’s management had announced.
The office is set to be launched on June 18, 2021, with Kenyan Senator Irung’u King’ata being the guest and the US-based media personality Kiarie Prestige being the host.
The event will be streamed live on Facebook and Youtube at 6 pm pacific time.
“I am greatly honoured to be Chief Guest for the official launch of UDA Diaspora Office in Seattle USA Washington state 1648 310th Street Federal Way Washington 98003 6pm June 18 2021. All are invited,” said Senator Kang’ata.
UDA will bank on the new office to assist it in campaigns ahead of Kenya’s general elections in 2022.
Statistics show many Kenyans live abroad, with the US and UK only having more than half a million Kenyan nationals.
The outfit is linked with Deputy President William Ruto, who has expressed his interest in the top seat.
