United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is set to interview candidates who have expressed interest in running for the presidency using the outfit on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
The party announced that three applicants have applied to vie for Presidency during the August 9, 2022, polls. They include deputy president William Ruto, Jephnel Nyakwama and Tracy Wanjiru Kingoli.
The three applicants are required to submit a National Identification Card, a soft copy of a coloured passport-sized photograph, proof of payment of nomination fees, an original copy of the academic degree, and an updated CV, according to UDA secretary-general Veronica Maina.
“We right to invite you for verification of your documents and interview to determine your eligibility as Presidential Candidate. This will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 0830 hours, the venue being Hustler Plaza in Nairobi,” Veronica said.
Thereafter, the party will hold its National Delegates Conference on Tuesday, March 15, to nominate its official presidential candidate to lock horns with Raila Odinga of Azimio La Umoja.
“We are in receipt of your application to be nominated as a presidential candidate through the National Delegates Congress.
