Popular African American comedian and actress, Franchesca Ramsey has received death threat amid calls for blacks to be extensively protected following the renewed spate of race-related tension in the United States.
Franchesca Ramsey who is known by her stage name, Chescaleigh made the death threat revelation via Twitter.
She wrote: “hi @instagram I rarely do this but your platform doesn’t give me the option to report DMs for targeted harassment/racism instead I can only report the account or a specific post. there’s no option to include a screenshot of said comment. how should I handle these messages?

Aside from being a comedian and actress, she is also an activist, television and YouTube personality, with the 36 year – old bursting into fame and global reckoning after her YouTube commentary on racial issues went viral and she has since built a career as a writer, producer, and performer based on her unintended activism.
In its response, Instagram tweeted “Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We don’t allow this type of hate speech and have disabled the account. Also, you can report DMs by holding down the message until you see an option to ‘Report’.”
