Six Members Of Trump's Tulsa Rally Team Test Positive For COVID-19

The Communications Director for the Trump Campaign Tim Murtaugh says six of his advance team have tested for COVID-19.

The six members were part of the teams organising a rally in Tulsa this weekend for President Donald Trump.

The staff had been seen in Tulsa ahead of the Saturday's event.

Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend despite warnings from health officials against large gathering due to COVID-19.

“Per safety protocols, campaign staff are tested for Covid-19 before events. Six members of the advance team tested positive out of hundreds of tests performed, and quarantine procedures were immediately implemented, said Tim Murtaugh.

“No COVID-positive staffers or anyone in immediate contact will be at today's rally or near attendees and elected officials,” he added.
