39-year-old Man Arrested After Fatal Stabbing OF Woman In Greenwich

A woman has been stabbed to death in Greenwich.

The police arrested a 39-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of murder.

The incident happened on Sunday 4 April at about 2:18hrs.

The police and London Ambualance Service were called to a blockd of flats in Ravine Grove, SE18.

A woman was found with stab wounds at the scene and despite the effort by paramedics, she was pronounced dead an hour later.

Investigators said a murder investigation has been launched following the death.

A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course while Officers work to find out the identity of the woman.

The man arrested at the scene remains in custody at a south London police station.

The police have condons remain in place at the location as enquires continue.
