A British holidaymaker, 24, has drowned at Kerasia Beach in Northeast Corfu, Greece despite an effort by his brother to rescue him.
The tragedy happened a day after his mother, Claire Glatman, 60, was killed by a speedboat while swimming in the Island of Corfu.
The tourist was on the Island with his brother and his brother’s girlfriend when the tragedy struck on Tuesday, at about 5.30 pm.

According to Enimerosi report, his brother noticed he was in trouble and dived in to rescue his him. A local doctor tried to resuscitate him after his brother pulled him out of the water unconscious.
His body has been deposited to Corfu Hospital.
A day before, his mother, Ms Glatman, the wife of Mark Glatman, the chief executive of British commercial property group Abstract was killed by a speedboat.
The incident happened about 2 miles away on Aviaki Beach, Greece.
Ms Glatman was pulled out of the water, however, had lost too much blood. There were injuries to her wrist, arms, chest and pelvis and legs.
The unfortunate family who hails from Bedale, North Yorkshire was popular in Corfu community where they own a holiday villa.
Detectives have questioned three Britons, a wealthy hedge fund manager Rob Lucas, 58, his son, 18 and daughter, 22 in connection to the incident that led to the death of Ms Glatman.
The police examined the rib-style speedboat and a local who was said to have initially tried to rescue Claire.
Later, the police concluded that the suspected family were in another location when the incident happened.
A Foreign Office statement said: “We are supporting the family of a British woman following her death in Corfu and our staff are in contact with the Greek police.
“Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.”
