An event organizer has been reported for £10,000 fine after organizing a dangerous unlicensed music event in East London.
The event breached the Coronavirus regulations put in place by the government to curb the spread of the virus.
The music event happened last weekend, Sunday 4 October on Wythes Road, E16.

Officers arrived at the scene after 09.30 am following several concerns from residents of anti-social and violent behaviour in the street.
Met officers said they heard loud music blaring from a derelict public house with over 150 people crammed inside what they described as “hazardous and unsanitary hall” within the building.
Sergeant Simon Biggs who was one of the officers at the scene said he was “shocked by the event organizer’s blatant disregard for the safety of those there”.
Officers met large music and DJ system set up in the corner of the building with over 150 fun-seekers inside the building, which breached the COVID-19 regulations designed to keep people safe.
The crowds were dispersed by sergeant Biggs and his colleagues, identified the 30-year-old event organizer and reported him for “consideration of a £10,000 fixed penalty notice”
Biggs said “This health crisis has claimed thousands of lives and people attending events such as this risk furthering the spread of this deadly virus.
“The conditions at this abandoned pub were awful, there was no running water, poor sanitary conditions, no social distancing measures and most of those attending were not wearing a face covering.
“In addition to the obvious threat of the virus, the building was also evidently in a serious state of disrepair. Water was dripping from the ceiling and there were a number of other hazards. After leaving, officers made sure to secure the building to prevent further access.”
