A father and son who robbed and murdered a man in Greenwich have been jailed for 48 years.
Ernesto Elliot, 45, of Parquier Road, E17 and Nico Elliot, 23, of Walthamstow, were found guilty by a jury at a trial at the Old Bailey on Friday, 27 January 2023.
The father, Ernesto, received 26 years for the murder and 12 years in jail for armed robbery. Both are to run concurrently.

The son was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 22 years for his involvement in the murder and another ten years for robbery. The sentences were to run concurrently.
The duos stabbed Nathaniel Eyewu-Ago, 35, to death after he chased them to Barge Walk, SE10, in June last year, after they robbed drugs and cash from him.
The incident happened in broad daylight, leaving many witnesses, including an off-duty police officer, PC Luke Dowling, who immediately called 999.
The judge commended PC Dowling for maintaining the forensic exhibits safe at the scene and his brave effort in attempting first aid on Nathaniel.
The court heard how Nathaniel died in the hospital on 8 June due to the injury sustained from the stab to his heart.
The police arrested the father and son the same day on suspicion of murder.
Through CCTV analysis, mobile phones and witness statements, Detectives placed Ernesto and Nico at the scene.
While Nico gave a statement to the police, his father Ernesto argued that he attacked Nathaniel in self-defence.
Detective Chief Inspector Kate Kieran, the lead investigator, said, “After robbing Nathaniel Eyewu-Ago of drugs and cash, Ernesto and Nico were prepared to use any form of violence necessary to protect their stolen property.
“This case is another example of how the illegal drug trade fuels violent crime. Not only has this incident resulted in the death of one man and life imprisonment sentences for two others, it has also caused significant trauma to innocent members of the public who witnessed it.”
Justin Elliott, 19 (06.09.03), was found not guilty of murder but guilty of robbery. He was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in a Young Offender Institution; he must serve at least half his sentence before being released on licence.
Nicholas Elliott, 26 (21.07.96) of no fixed address, was found not guilty of murder and robbery.
