Jermaine Myers charged with death of Nicholas Sutin in Finchley

A 36-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Nicholas Sutin in Finchley.

Jermaine Myers of Woodhouse Road was arrested on the evening of Saturday, 28 May and charged on Sunday 29 with Nicholas's murder.

He was also charged with the possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a pointed bladed article.

A 40-year-old man [A] was earlier arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been bailed to a date in late June.

Myers Stabbed 55-year-old Nicholas to death on Ballards Lane on Friday, 27 May, N12, around 4am.

Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 01:05hrs and found the victim in a critical condition.

Despite best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

On 28 May, a post-mortem examination was carried out at Northwick Park Hospital Mortuary and gave the cause of death as head injuries and a stab wound to the neck.

Myers appeared in custody at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Monday, 30 May.
