Conor McCarthy, 39, has been charged with the murder of Peter Littlefair, 57, in Harrow.
McCarthy is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates Court on Saturday, 18 March.
The incident happened at a residential address on Thursday, 16 March, on Chester Driver, where Peter lived.
Police were called to a fight outside the house around 02:02hrs.
Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and found Peter injured. Despite the best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police have informed his next of kin and are being supported by specially trained officers.
McCarthy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
Detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command are investigating.
