Teenage boy arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder
Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in North London.
The incident happened on Ayley Croft in Enfield on Monday, 7 February.
Police and London Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 18:10hrs and found an 18-year-old boy with stab wounds.
Despite best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been notified and are being supported by specialist offers, according to a police statement on Monday evening.
A teenage boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
He was taken into custody as enquiries continued.
Homicide detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command have been informed.
A crime scene has been put in place.
