Murder investiaton lauched after woman found dead in Lameth

Investigators have launched a probe after a woman was found dead in Lambeth.

The police were called around 16:04hrs on Monday, 1 May, to a report of a stabbing in Stockwell Park Wall, SW9.

Paramedics and police attended and found a woman, believed to be in her 30s, dead at the scene.

Police have informed the woman’s family and are supported by a specialist officer.

The police have closed a number of roads as officers carry out work at the scene.
