Murder probe launched after suspicious death of man in Croydon

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man suspiciously died in Croydon.

Police were called to Leslie Grove Place at 18:29hrs on Thursday to report that a man had been stabbed.

Police attended and found a man in his 40 who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say efforts are ongoing to confirm the identity of the man.

The family will be informed and supported by specialist officers.

Three men have now been arrested on suspicion of murder and are in police custody, a police statement said on Thursday.
