Police have launched a murder probe following the death of a man in Bexley.
The incident happened on Saturday, 18 September, at 22:13hrs outside Belvedere Railway Station.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man believed to be in his 40s with stab wounds.
Despite best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police said they knew the identity of the man but awaited former identification.
His next of kin have yet been informed.
“A post-mortem will be arranged in due course to understand the exact nature of his injuries”, the police said in a statement on Sunday.
No arrests have been made as the crime scene remains in place.
