Police are investigating the death of a man in Burnt Oak

The man, in his 20s, was stabbed on Friday, 18 February, on Watling Avenue, Burnt oak.

The police and London Ambulance Services arrived at the scene at around 17:00hrs and found the man suffering from stab wounds.

Despite best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives await formal identification and confirmation, and the family have been informed; they will be supported by specialist officers.

No arrests have been made as the investigation is still in its early stage.

Detectives are appealing to anyone with useful information to call 101 and quote CAD5579/18FEB or speak anonymously to the charity Crimestopper on 0800 555 111.
