Police Arrest 25-year-old Man Over Stabbing In Oxford Circus

A 25 year old man has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Oxford Circus in Central London.

The incident happened shortly before 20:00hrs on Thursday, 1 July on Oxford Circus, closed to regent Street, W1.

Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulanace attended the scene.

The victim was rushed to a Central London Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Police arrested a 25-year-old man at the scene of the incident.

He was taken a south London hospital where he was treated for head injury.

His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

The police has put a crime scene in place as officers remain on ground.

Investigators are asking anyone with useful information to come forward or call the police via 101 quoting reference CAD 7129/01Jul.
