Two people have been charged with the murder of Muhamoud Mohamed Madi in Burnt Oak.
Muhamoud, 28, was stabbed to death in Watling Avenue on Friday, 18 February.
A post-mortem examination at the Northwick Park Hospital on Saturday 19 February further confirmed the cause of death to be a stabbed wound to the chest.
Muhamoud, who lived with his mother in the Finchley area of NW11, died at the scene despite the best efforts from the paramedics.
On Sunday, 20 February, the police charged Christian Adom Kuta-Danku, 18, from Rayners Lane, and a 16-year-old boy from Harrow was charged with murder.
Police had arrested three people but charged two, with the remaining suspect, a 19-year-old, placed on bail to a date in late March pending further enquiries.
The murder suspects will appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Monday, 21 February, the police statement reads.
Leading the investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Neil John said: "Muhamoud lived with his mother in Barnet.
"My officers met with her today, and she will be supported by specialist Met officers throughout the unimaginably difficult days and months ahead.
DCI John added: "I continue to appeal for anyone with information and any witnesses to come forward and speak with police. If they would prefer to remain anonymous, they can also contact the independent charity, Crimestoppers.
