An investigation has been initiated by the police following an incident where a man was forcibly removed from a vehicle and abandoned at a petrol station in Enfield.
The investigators are asking any drivers who may have captured the incident on their dashcam before 5 am on Saturday to please contact them.
On Saturday, June 10th, around 9:00 am., the police and London Ambulance Service were alerted about a man who had collapsed at the BP petrol station in Bullsmoor Lane, Enfield.
A man in his 50s was hospitalized and is in critical condition, according to the police. Detectives from the Met’s North Area CID are leading an investigation.
Based on the police investigation, a silver Mercedes entered the garage at approximately 5:00 am. A man removed another man from the vehicle and left him on the ground at the petrol station before driving away.
According to the police, the man did not have any visible injuries and stayed at the site until the authorities and emergency services were summoned later that morning.
After tracing the Mercedes and identifying the driver, a 42-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. He has been released on bail while the police continue their investigation.
