An 18-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the death of a man in North London.

Timothy Adeoye will appear in court on Monday 14 February following the death of Donovan Allen, 18.

Adeoye’s hearing will take place at Willesden Magistrates’ Court.

A 14-year-old teenage boy who was also arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder has been granted bail until early March.

Adeoye stabbed Donovan on the evening of 7 February, according to the Metropolitan police’s statement.

The incident happened in Ayley Croft, Enfield.

Donovan, of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, died at the scene despite best effort by the London Ambulance Service.

The report of the post-mortem showed Donovan died from a single stab wound to the chest.

The police charged Adeoye with three counts of attempted robbery, threatening a person with a blade in a public place and possession of an offensive weapon.

Police said the charges included other incidents on 07 February.
