Two men in custody as police continue investigation into Karamjeet Singh Reel's death in Hounslow

Investigators probing the murder of Karamjeet Singh Reel in Hounslow have arrested two suspects.

Two men, 32 and 23-year old, from Ealing, were arrested late on Tuesday, 28 June.

The duo remains in custody at a West London police station as the investigation continues.

Karamjeet was killed on Saturday, 25 June, on Staines Road, Hounslow.

Police and London Ambulance were called at 00:30hrs and found the 31-year-old with stab wounds.

Despite efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police have informed his family and are being supported by specialist officers.

The special post-mortem examination at Uxbridge Mortuary on Saturday, 25 June, showed that he died from a stab wound.

Detective Chief Inspector James Shirley from the Met's Specialist Crime Command said: "Our investigation continues into the events that led to Karamjeet's murder.

"We still need to speak to anyone in the area of Staines Road in Hounslow in the early hours of Saturday, 25 June and witnessed anything that may be relevant.

"I would ask anyone with information, no matter how insignificant you think it may be, to contact my officers – it could prove to be a crucial piece of the wider picture that enables us to identify whoever is responsible."
