How Former Miss USA 2029, Cheslie Kryst Jumped to Her Death

Former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst was the woman who jumped to her death from a Midtown high-rise New York apartment building on Sunday, January 30.

Before her death, the 30-year-old, who was crowned Miss USA in 2019, shared an Instagram snapshot with her fans.

"May this day bring you rest and peace," she wrote alongside a close-up photo of herself."

Kryst was a lawyer who worked to reform America's justice system in addition to being a TV presenter.

She graduated from two universities with three degrees.

Her death has subsequently gone viral on social media, eliciting a variety of opinions from those who feel she struggled with mental illness.
