Recently, Mike Lindell, known for his support of former President Donald Trump, has been deserted by his attorneys in response to defamation claims made by voting machine companies.
The attorneys who were previously defending Mike Lindell and his company, MyPillow, in a lawsuit worth 1.2 billion dollars have requested to withdraw from the case because Lindell cannot pay his legal fees, which amount to millions of dollars.

Parker Daniels Kibort LLC, the law firm representing Lindell and MyPillow, has filed a lawsuit stating that its clients have not paid the legal bills for three defamation cases and can no longer afford to be represented by the firm.
The filing said, “At this time, Defendants are in arrears by millions of dollars to PDK,” adding, “PDK is a small litigation and trial firm in Minneapolis, MN and cannot afford to finance Defendants’ defense in the Litigations.”
The filing also said Lindell and the company were already informed and understood their position, “Defendants have indicated that they understand PDK’s position, do not object, and are in the process of finding new counsel,” the filing said.
The company stated that if they continue representing Lindell, they would have to pay even more legal fees than the millions they already owe.
Mike Lindell is currently facing three lawsuits from voting machine companies Smartmatic and Dominion Voting System, as well as a former Dominion employee named Eric Coomer.
Coomer accused Lindell of harming his reputation by repeatedly claiming fraud during the 2020 presidential election.
During his appearance on Real America Network, Lindell said, “10 minutes ago, all the lawyers we have for Mypillow and myself in the lawsuit with the lawfare with Dominion and Smartmatics just filed in federal court to drop us as our attorneys, and this came from the lawfare basically and from the media, the attacks on my pillow.”
He also told NBC, “We have lost everything, every dime,” adding, “all is gone.”
Lindell also complained about his company’s financial difficulty, blaming American Express and the government’s attempt to take out loans.
“What American Express did is just devastating our credit, and we can’t pay the lawyers, we can’t pay. There is no money left to pay them,” he said.
He added, “They took away my borrowing because of all you guys in the media,” adding that he’d been “canceled” over his comments on the 2020 election.
Mike Lindell’s unsubstantiated comments and promises since the 2020 election have continued to have further financial implications for him and his business.
In March 2020, with Newsweek, Lindell confessed he had borrowed $10 million for legal fees.
A month later, he was ordered to pay $5 million for failing to meet his side of the “Prove Mike Wrong” 2020 election challenge, which asked participants to find proof that his cyber data was not valid from the November 2020 election.
The contest said, “For the people who find the evidence, 5 million is their reward,.”
A software developer, Robert Zeidman, won the challenge, but Lindell refused to pay, leading to the legal battle and the $5 million ruling. Lindell is now challenging the arbitration panel’s ruling.
Despite the repercussions, Lindell told NBC on Thursday that “I will never stop trying to secure our election.”
Lindell is one of many Trump allies facing actions over their false claims about the 2020 election.
Trump’s former lawyer and long-time friend, former New York City Major Rudy Giuliani, is facing a legal battle with his attorney, Robert Costella and his firm for $1.4 million in unpaid feels.
Giuliani is also in a legal battle with Smartmatic, Dominion and Comer for defaming two Georgia election workers. He is facing similar charges in Fulton County. He’s pleaded not guilty to the Georgia election interference charges.
