America President, Donald Trump has explained why he cancelled his trip to Bedminster, New Jersey Golf Club in the last minutes.
Earlier reports indicated that the President cancelled his trip due to the upsurge of the COVID-19 in the country.
A Presidential spokesman Jude Deere had debunked the speculation that the cancellation had “had anything to do with new 14-day quarantine recommendations made by New Jersey’s governor for people travelling to the states from areas where infection rates are high.”

Trump tweeted on Friday that he stayed behind “to make sure law and order was enforced.”
“I was going to go to Bedminster, New Jersey, this weekend, but wanted to stay in Washington, D.C. to make sure LAW & ORDER is enforced.
“The arsonists, anarchists, looters, and agitators have been largely stopped. I am doing what is necessary to keep our communities safe — and these people will be brought to justice!”
Against expert advice, Trump held a rally in Arizona on Tuesday, a state where there is an increase in COVID-19 cases.
Keeping community safe hasn’t been the President strong suit. All Trump campaign staffers who attended the rally in Tulsa had to quarantine after interacting with colleagues who had tested positive for the COVID-19.
According to the communications director for the Trump campaign Tim Murtaugh, “As a precaution staff who made the trip to Tulsa are working remotely, and they will be tested and return working to the office after that.”
Meanwhile, White House staff who also attended the rally returned to work as usual but was routinely tested.
Trump faced backlash for several days after the Tulsa rally.
On Wednesday night, CNN reports that multiple Secret Service officers were also instructed to self-quarantine after two of their colleagues who were on site for the rally tested positive.
“The mass quarantine has led to the decision that Secret Service agents involved with presidential trips must be tested for coronavirus for the next couple of weeks, according to an email sent to agency personnel. The email sent out Wednesday was confirmed by the law enforcement official. Agents must now be tested 24 to 48 hours before a presidential trip, the email said. The new testing mandate will be in place until July 4.” The network reports.
